Eleven years online! Tue, 17 Dec 2013 at 12:00 PM CST
Eleven Years Online! My site turned 11 years old back on December 15th, though this anniversary is once again meh since I've done so little in two years here. I'm sorry I don't have anything new in terms of updates (I wouldn't expect anything significant until the new year). Hopefully in the new year, I can update my Brawl and 3DS Galleries with more content.

Also I do know I really need to give my site a new facelift. I've ran with the same looks since moving my site to Chozo Sanctuary years ago. Maybe one of these days I'll sit down and give my site's looks a refresh. Anyways I'm out until next time and I hope all of you are able to have a great holiday season ahead!

It's allliiiivvveee....again. Fri, 6 Dec 2013 at 7:00 PM CST
It's been ages, but I finally am back with updates to the 3DS and Brawl Galleries (namely fixing some display issues). I also updated the Links Section.

Let's see what all has happened in the past year... I got a new Windows 8 computer earlier this year. It's such a step up from my old Dell Inspiron 1501 with Windows XP SP 3. My new computer is a HP 2000 Notebook PC with Windows 8. I haven't upgraded to Windows 8.1 yet as I'm waiting for some issues to get resolved first. As to Windows 8 itself, I don't mind it. It does everything I need, but I understand what works for me doesn't cut it with others.

Also I've still been uploading online gameplays to my YouTube channel. They don't have commentary, but maybe sometime I can actually try to commentate on some gameplays. Oh my site's 11th anniversary approaches on the 15th. But I realize these anniversaries have been meh with me doing so little in years. There's only so much time I can devote to things. But hopefully in the new year, I can start expanding the 3DS and Brawl Galleries with more pictures.

Until next time, I'm out.

Ten years online! Sun, 16 Dec 2012 at 6:00 PM CST
Ten Years on the Web! Well I'm a day late and a dollar short, but yesterday my site turned 10 years old. I know this anniversary is kinda meh since I've done little since earlier this year. Well every time I look toward the SSBB and 3DS 3D Galleries, I try a few things to see if I can improve page load times and then I go off to other stuff when I realize the attempts failed.

Well this time I may be onto something, so I'm using this anniversary update to try out something with those two sections. Here's hoping this works (and if not, I'll have to go back to the drawing board and try something else). Also I updated the RC and Links sections. If I successfully nail the new changes to the two galleries and improve page load performance, I can finally resume updating more often instead of rarely... Until next time folks.

Months later...again. Sun, 6 May 2012 at 10:00 AM CDT
I finally got off my backside and made some time to update the Links Section. If you're wondering what took so long to make this update, let's just say laziness, real life, and new video games have been keeping me busy. Until next time everyone.

Things move fast and I move too slow. Tue, 31 Jan 2012 at 2:10 PM CST
So when I last checked in here, the internet had just come off their day of blackouts and anti-censorship protests. Soon after SOPA and PIPA were shelved for an indefinite time. They aren't gone for good, so the fight is not over. SOPA and PIPA can be revived at any time or spiritual successors can be spawned from those bills. And knowing modern American government, these bills will come as soon as the current election season ends (this is so these bills can be backdoored into law with nobody looking and the heat is off politicians).

So I've changed out the anti-SOPA and PIPA button and it's link to the American Censorship page for an anti-internet censorship button and a link to the EFF, a group that fights for digital rights in the 21st century. If you want to learn about current threats to the internet and how you can get involved to peacefully protest against them, visit the EFF. Because if a SOPA or a ACTA (another dangerous bill) becomes law, kiss goodbye to fair use laws and get prepared to be sent to jail and/or pay tons of money for e-mailing a fan-art Mega Man birthday card to a family member who is a fan of Mega Man.

EDIT at 2:36 PM CST - Scratch the no update. The coding I was using to display a message upon loading the Brawl and 3DS Galleries is too messy and doesn't work in IE (surprise, surprise). So now visiting those galleries doesn't give a message that the galleries are loading. If anyone has any ideas as to how to make those galleries more load friendly, e-mail me.

And I'm back. Wed, 18 Jan 2012 at 10:30 PM CST
If you were checking this site earlier today, you may have found part of my site blacked out for the internet-wide strike against a pair of dangerous bills in Congress which are SOPA and PIPA. I joined the strike as if those bills became law, just using the internet becomes illegal resulting in anything from your sites being taken down without due process and people being arrested and sued and/or fined heavily for just using something copywritten without permission or coming across unapproved copywrite usages.

Don't get me wrong. I oppose piracy, but these bills go too far. If you like to learn about what SOPA and PIPA are and what you can do to peacefully protest them, click the anti-SOPA & PIPA banner at the top of any page on my site. I now return you to (ir)regular updates with three new items added to my 3DS 3D Gallery! I've been enjoying the new games I've picked up during the last holidays.

I've finished Skyward Sword (not 100%), got five sparkling stars in Super Mario 3D Land, and I'm currently working through Ocarina of Time 3D (not going to 100% it though -- I've already done that many times with the N64 original and the GCN version).

Oh and if you noticed activity on my YouTube account, I've uploaded some results of some online matches I've had in Goldeneye 007 Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Feel free to go enjoy them now before SOPA and PIPA take them away...

Ninth anniversary! Thu, 15 Dec 2011 at 3:30 PM CST
Nine Years on the Web! Well today marks the ninth anniversary of my website! I never thought my website would last this long when this launched on Angelfire way back on December 15th, 2002. And despite some challenges over the years including transitioning from sprite comics to game photography and changing hosts twice, I still keep going. Here's to nine more years!

I've had The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for nearly a month now and I figure I'm past the half-way point in the game. The game has some quirks like trading in some exploration for linear gameplay, but the changes in the core gameplay makes me excited for Zelda's possible future whether it's on Nintendo 3DS or the upcoming Wii U.

I've also been enjoying one Mario Kart 7 since earlier this month. The game may not have evolved the Mario Kart franchise, but the online play is the best yet in the series. Finally there's Pushmo, a great puzzle-platformer on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. If you like solving puzzles and platforming (and later creating and playing custom puzzles), give Pushmo a spin.

Sometime later when I get significant time to work on this site, I'll put up two of my custom Pushmo puzzles for you all to enjoy. Back to video gaming for me!
